About Helpers

In 2016 Arastoo & Megan Yazdani saw the refugee crisis first hand. Volunteering in the camps of Athens and Lesvos opened their eyes to the reality of the struggle. Thousands of families, fleeing war, looking for safety, looking for a way to rebuild their lives once more. They came back to Perth with a passion to share what they had witnessed and find a way to help. 

In 2021 a group of us decided it's the right time! Helpers was born.

We hold fundraiser events, rally support and send the funds to help.

We believe everyone has a desire to help someone who is down on their luck. However, sometimes the need may seem overwhelming and we don't know where or how to start. That's where Helpers comes in. With a clear and precise avenue to help, we can all chip in and make a real difference together.
